Marking scheme

When a question is selected, clicking  and then the following dialog will be shown for setting the marking scheme.

ID The identification (ID) number of the current question.
Type

The type of the question, it would be one of the following types:

  • Fill in the blank;
  • Single choice,
  • Multiple choice
  • Matching
  • Pull down
Marking  Criteria

All the marking scheme for the question. For each marking:

  • Marks: If the corresponding conditions are satisfied, this marks will be issued.
  • Match: the first digital is for sensitive; the second is for "trim right", and the third is for "removing spaces".
  • Conditions: "&" means "and", "|" means "or", "$1" is the first input and "$i" is the ith input.

Input Matching

This is for "Fill in the blank":

  • Sensitive: The answer are sensitive.
  • Trim right: Let N be the length of an answer, if its input is longer than the answer, only the left N letter are used as the input.
  • Remove Space: All the spaces will be removed from an input, such as "x  + 3" is equal to "x+3". 
Current Criteria

This is used to modify the selected marking criteria:

  • Input: This list will be automatically generated based on the formats of the question and the type of question.
  • Answer: This will be compared with the inputs of students

If Input is "1" and the answer is "x+3", the corresponding condition is "$1=x+3".

You can Add the current criteria into the selected marking criteria or Remove the selected marking condition.

Matching List This is used for single /multiple choice questions and pull down questions.
